Nintendo is releasing their own Plug & Play console this year. The NES Classic Collection is a tiny console designed after the NES and looks to fit in the palm of your hand.
It supports the Wii Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro, as well as comes with a Classic Controller fashioned directly after the original NES controller.
It connects to a display via HDMI and while it won’t take your NES cartridges, it does come installed with 30 NES games. The console has a price point of $60 and will be available November 11, 2016. It may not be the NX that many people have been anticipating, but it’s… something. Is this something you’re interested in or would you rather just stick to Virtual Console?
