Kirby: Planet Robobot is coming to 3DS on June 10, 2016. It features the same kind of gameplay one would expect from a Kirby game, but will now have you jumping back and forth between the foreground and background. Kirby gets new copy abilities, and can even pilot a mech—which even has its own copy abilities.
In addition to that, there’s a multiplayer mode known as Team Kirby Clash. Four players can team up and each can take their own role, complete quests, fight bosses, earn experience points, and level up their abilities to take on tougher quests. You can use download play so only one person in your group needs to own the game, or you can take up some CPU controlled characters if you have no friends.
A new line of amiibo, as seen above, are the Kirby series amiibo featuring Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Waddle Dee. Using an amiibo while in game can give Kirby a copy ability. Besides just these, if you any amiibo, “something is sure to happen.” The Kirby series amiibo will launch alongside the release of Kirby: Planet Robobot.
