Microsoft had been discussing Lionhead Studio’s closure and the cancelling of Fable Legends, but it may not be over yet. There are discussions now about saving Fable Legends. MCV reports staff is being surveyed if they would like to continue working on the project or leave at the end of the month. Many freelancers have left the project, leaving mostly those who were contracted to work on it, yet some employees have been offered work by other companies.

It isn’t certain one way or another if Fable Legends will continue or remain a scrap. One of three sources reported to MCV that it was proposed that Fable Legends continue as an independent studio. Who knows what the decision will be, but we should have our answer by the end of the month.
