The Legend of Zelda for Wii U is still a work in progress and Japanese magazine Famitsu got in contact with Zelda series producer, Eiji Aonuma. Translated by Kotaku, we might have a slight idea of where this new Zelda is headed. When asked how progress on the new title is coming, Aonuma states, “busy” and “the change in flavor will be like going from Japanese to Western style food” and he thinks players will be surprised.
I think the base of our secret sauce has always been Ocarina of Time. But this time, the change in flavor will be like going from Japanese food to Western style food. Perhaps, players will be surprised.
Please look forward to it, because I think we’ll be able to make ‘something new’ like Ocarina of Time was.
He certainly sounds like he has high hopes for it. Many fans have been frothing at the mouth waiting for this one. Let’s hope the delay from 2015 is worth it.
