Pokkén Tournament – Shadow Mewtwo is getting fixed

Spay and neuter your pets. I mean—you may have heard about Shadow Mewtwo’s broken combo in Pokkén Tournament. A simple string of two commands used repeatedly that could easily give Shadow Mewtwo a win. A patch has been announced that is said to fix this issue. The patch will also tweak Resharim and include various bug fixes. This patch will be arriving “early April”. Not a long wait.

So, a “technique” was found that gives Shadow Mewtwo an easy win. It involves using the same projectile powered by Miracle Eye repeatedly. When the projectile hits a blocking opponent, the opponent goes into block stun. The stun lasts longer than it takes Shadow Mewtwo to fire the projectile again. You will still take guard damage from the attack, so your life will slowly drain as long as this continues. Shadow Mewtwo also takes damage from this, but neither player’s HP will drop below 1. Since the game will give the win to the player with the highest percentage of HP left when time runs out, Shadow Mewtwo will always win because he has the lowest maximum HP.
